The Infinite Human by Mark Worrall
Human mastery in the machine age
Exploring how humans can learn, adapt and create alongside intelligent machines.
About Mark
Hi, I'm Mark
I build AI systems for a living, and the more capable they get, the more convinced I am of something simple: what you know still matters, and how fast you can learn more matters even more. Everyone has the same tools now - the edge is what's in your own head, and how quickly you can grow it.
AI can't think for you. It has automated how knowledge spreads, not how you acquire it - understanding still has to be built the slow way, until it's automatic. That's what lets you build on what you know and catch the machine when it's wrong. It's the only edge that compounds, and we give it up too easily.
So it's what I work on. I founded Nodeledge to turn cognitive science into technical education that actually sticks - and I write about the rest at The Infinite Human.
The Infinite Human
The Infinite Human is built on three pillars that anchor human mastery in an age of accelerating intelligence.
Learn
Build knowledge that actually lasts.
Cognitive scienceRead more Read less
Applying learning science in practice to help people continually build knowledge, skills, and lasting expertise.
Adapt
Stay effective as the ground shifts.
Behavioural scienceRead more Read less
Navigating change and uncertainty through deliberate adaptation - using evidence, feedback, and habit building to stay effective as technology evolves.
Create
Build what didn't exist before.
Real-world buildingRead more Read less
Applying mastery and insight to build what did not exist before - knowledge, tools, and systems that expand human capability and understanding.
Together they form a cycle - from knowledge to agility to invention - the core of what it means to be an infinite human.
The product I'm building
Nodeledge
Mastery learning for Python, maths and machine learning - built on cognitive science. You've done the courses and watched the videos but still can't build from scratch. Nodeledge makes it stick: everything you learn stays learned.
Learn by doing, not watching

Every lesson is explain → worked example → your turn → retry, and you write real code in the browser - no setup, no passive watching.
No gaps, ever

Lessons live in a mastery-gated knowledge graph - each lesson a node, each edge a prerequisite - so you're never asked to do something you're not ready for.
Remember it for good

Spaced repetition reviews each concept just before you'd forget - and because it's a graph, reviewing advanced topics reinforces the basics automatically.
Hundreds of lessons live today across Python and maths.
Writing
Essays and ideas at the intersection of learning, AI, and human potential. Published on Substack.
Civilisation runs on learning speed
We've automated knowledge distribution, but not knowledge acquisition.
Read on SubstackIs AI about to self-improve?
No. No it's not. But we could try to be scientific about testing it.
